Location and Campus Information

Washington State University's 620-acre core, main campus is located in Pullman (estimated population 27,150), 75 miles south of Spokane and seven miles west of the Washington/Idaho border. In addition to the Pullman campus, the University has regional campuses in Spokane, the Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland), and Vancouver. A Northwestern Trailways bus route stops in Pullman and Horizon Airlines flies into the Pullman-Moscow airport, located between Pullman and Moscow, Idaho. An international airport and train service are available in Spokane. Pullman Transit, a public bus service, provides both fixed-route and Dial-A-Ride services around the city and campus. A separate commuter bus runs between Pullman and Moscow. The city of Pullman's unified trail system offers miles of pathways for non-motorized transportation. These paths link to the eight-mile Bill Chipman Palouse Trail that connects Pullman and Moscow, as well as to downtown Pullman.
