Golf Additional

I have played several years and have recently started working on my game so that I can play at the next level. I was averaging around 95-97 most of my Junior season and starting at Sectionals last fall to now I have dropped my average almost 10 strokes and my scores continue to improve. I look forward to playing collegiate golf and believe my work ethic and team mentality would make me a great fit for any program. I am a 3 sport athlete playing golf in the fall, basketball in the winter, and softball in the spring. I have earned 8 varsity letters from RHS so far and will earn 3 more my Senior year so I know the dedication it will take to succeed at the collegiate level and am more than willing to put in the work! Thank you for taking a look at my profile...

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the course I am often trying to be paired with younger less experienced girls so that I can pass along what I have learned in my 3 years of varsity golf at Rossville. Off the field I want to be a leader for Best Buddies and participate in various events to be a great example.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I believe in winning by being my best and encouraging those around me whether it is a teammate or opponent. Winning by lifting others up is much more satisfying than winning by pulling others down.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been involved in Teen Serve in the past and participated for several years. I loved being able to help those that can't help themselves. I also participate in Best Buddies through our school and enjoy lifting up the kids and helping them.
