Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love being part of a team and working together to achieve success. I am extremely dedicated both on and off the court and sharing the discipline that has helped me become a student athlete with a new team would be exciting.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the court, I try to bring positive body language and energy to the team. A lot of athletes will train and play hard, it is what you do to bring your teammates up and how you hold yourself accountable first that define a leader.
Off the field, I lead by example in class. I usually take the lead on projects and make sure everyone is doing their part. I also like to help and encourage the underclass girls in the halls when I see them. With a school of nearly 4,000 students, it is easy to get lost in the shuffle so I do my best to support all the girls in our program.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am very disciplined and have a routine of getting my homework or studying done right when I get home. I also utilize my study hall to get work done. This routine allows me to focus on athletics easier and do the little things that help bring success. Whether it is eating right or drinking enough water, being able to focus on taking care of myself allows me to be a better athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been involved with the Riley Dance Marathon at our school. I have also been member of the Animal Adoption/Rescue Club. I have also been involved with our Tiger Ambassador Club to welcome new students to the school.
