Personal Highlights

I’ve been on the A and B honor roll since freshman year.
I’ve been on the academic achievement team my freshman and sophomore year.
Was chosen to go to Brown University for the College Horizons camp.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Reservation schools rarely get exposure to college coaches, I want to be recruited to show my peers that you can play at the next level. There’s very little opportunities to show your talent and I will take advantage of those.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I’ve been team captain for 3 years and I’m willing to help anyone be a better volleyball player. I encourage my team mates to work hard and invite them to workout with me. I lead class discussions and I’m very involved with group projects.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I give my everything into every practice, but I can’t do that without the good amount of sleep I get. Or the healthy food I eat. I put twice the effort in the off season. I’ve been weight lifting since my freshman year.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I live in a poor community, I do everything I can to help the community itself and members. I help serve food, pick up trash and I’m currently in the process of doing a walk/ run for the community, to educate others on climate change.
