Personal Highlights

I enjoy running, and being part of a team.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I enjoy running very much, it is exhilarating. I like setting goals, and accomplishing them.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been nominated Ambassador of Cinco Ranch High School, as well as a Lifetime Member of National Society of High School Scholars. Team leadership is also a strength I exhibit on the practice field and at meets.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I maintain a healthy athletic performance through regular workouts at Life Fitness; I workout, and lift weights during the off season and maintain, a healthy diet, and weight. I'm also a member of Greater Houston Track and Field, currently training with an Olympic Track Couch. During Track Season, I devote a lot of time in Track Athletics and after school practices.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I attend church on a regular basis, especially on Weds evenings, and fellowship with peers. Through church programs we participate in community services. Being part of the community is rewarding and it builds my confidence when I can make a difference in others.
