Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play a sport in college because this is a sport that I am passionate for and live for. I also do not want this journey to end once I finish high school. In addition to this, I believe I could be an asset to the team as well as a team leader as I was elected to be my homeroom representative and take part in Student Council. I was also chosen by the faculty to take part in Leader's Club at my high school which is now Mustangs Leading Mustangs. This is a club strictly for athletes who show an excellence in their grades, participation in sports, and a willing to serve in their school.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer weekly at Huntington Hospital and this is something of very high importance to me because each week I have a different assignment from delivering meals, comforting the patients, delivering fresh linens, or working in the pharmacy. This weekly commitment reinforces how grateful I am to be healthy through the amazing people I meet and makes me feel all around better to be giving back to a community I love. In addition to my hospital volunteering, I also am responsible for arranging the North Shore Adoption Truck for both cats and dogs to come to my high school every spring. Our entire student body is invited to visit with the homeless animals, fill out an application, and take the animal home. This is such an important part of my life because my dad raised me to be a huge animal advocate. Helping to give forever homes to these animals gives me great pride because animals cannot speak for themselves.
