Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

To play in college would be fulfilling a lifelong dream of being able to maintain academic and athletic excellence and a potential to play at the next level. I would not be the man I am without baseball, and to be able to continue my career on the field would continue to help me develop into a valuable member of society.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I lead by example, always keeping my emotions in check no matter the situation and making the players around me better by performing well statistically but also by creating a winning culture. Off the field, I am part of team that leads other teens in biannual retreats to help them get away from the struggles they face in their daily lives.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a man who prides himself on being well-rounded, I maintain healthy athletic performance by prioritizing all the things in my life including baseball, school, work, family, and friends. I work to find a perfect balance of all these things so that I do not spread myself too thin and find time to enjoy life.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer with the Special Needs Program through my church. Seeing these people make the most out of their lives inspires me to push harder and give back to the community.
