Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have participated in competitive sports since 4th gd and love many sports.
I have learned how to manage my time to study and maintain an all honors and advanced honors curriculum while pursuing as many sports as possible. I enjoy competition and really love being around teammates and coaches that share the same passion!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a starting goalie on my school soccer teams since 5th gd, I’ve always played, my 8th and 9th gd seasons I started as the JV goalie as usual . But, when the Sr goalie was injured during my freshman year I was asked to step-up and take her place for 6 games, which I did very well only allowing one goal...after her return, I went back to occasionally playing and understood the situation as difficult as it was.
And, secondly, I love mathematics and do well in that being my favorite subject , so on Sundays I enjoy tudoring some of my teammates and classmates in advanced honors Algebra, advanced honors Algebra 2, Geometry, College Algebra and Pre-Calculus/Trig...

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As an 8th grader I played 5 varsity sports and 6 varsity sports as a freshman, while lettering in 3 and 4 respectively. I also play club soccer and swim club year-round. So, I have limited time to stray from a strenuous academic and athletic schedule...and I am also the head-student athletic trainer during our HS football season...

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a member of my churches Teen Life program and attend weekly functions almost every Sunday evening after mass. I am also involved in the Young Teens program at my high school, Ascension Episcopal. And, since I was 7 yrs old I have worked in my fathers businesses, learning every aspect involved. I usually go with him on Sat or Sun mornings when my schedule allows to count daily deposits and do payroll...I love being a coworker and also earning my own money!!
