This would be a great way to improve my academic experience and be able to play a sport that I have loved since I was a kid. I am willing to work hard to be the best I can be in both school and soccer.
During practices and games, I make sure to follow the instructions that my coaches give me and give encouragement to my teammates and help them in areas that they may be struggling in.
I make sure to make the right decisions not just for myself but for others, I am apart of " Know More " which is a suicide prevention group in which helps me know the signs and be able to help others that may be at risk.
I make sure to drink a good amount of water every day and maintain a healthy diet.
I stretch and warm up prior to physical activity. Also, I do weight lifting during P.E to help prevent injury. I have been able to have a healthy balance between school and soccer.
I have been apart of fundraisers for the American Cancer Society, ( Relay for Life).
I have helped serve food at Children's hospital for the parents who were staying overnight with Peoples Church)
Also, I am apart of Peer Counseling. This is a class that helps students that are going through a hard time and need someone to talk to.
