Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

College selection and Recruiting processes demand introspection. Academically, I am blessed with a quick grasp of concepts and a demanding work ethic. Luckily, I attend a top high school where I have the opportunity to pursue a rigorous course load while being challenged by my teachers and my peers. With a 4.0 unweighted GPA and strong test scores, my goal in a University is to find a strong Mathematics/Business oriented program with Professors who will allow me to also pursue my passion for swimming. In my swimming career, I’ve experienced two vastly different coaching styles. In my studies and in swimming, I try to be goal oriented, focused and, if anything, can be too driven. I benefit from technique input as to how I can improve a race and challenges to set higher goals. Swimming makes me feel better physically and mentally. I love to race in practice and at competitions and benefit from having friendly training partners in the next lane. Positive competition and strong team unity are key to a supportive team atmosphere. That’s the type of team and coaching I hope to find within a strong academic school. Thank you. Travis Nitkiewicz
