Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love the sport of Water polo. I like being part of a team. I love meeting new people who have the same interests as myself. I am always trying to improve and strive to be the best athlete I can be. I want to combine my academics with my passion for water polo. I am very excited to be a part of this sport for a long time to come.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am definitely a leader within my water polo/swim team. I organize team dinners etc. so we can learn to work better as a team both inside and outside the pool. My coach knows he can count on me to be responsible and reliable, and my teammates know the same. Outside of water polo/swim I am coaching kids to learn to swim and learn to play water polo. I try to present myself as a leader and a good example for these children.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I treat my athletics and academics each as very important in my life. In my athletic life I try to maintain a healthy diet and make sure my body has the fuel it needs to produce top results. Not only do I participate in my high school water polo team but I play club water polo year round and, I am a member of my high school Varsity swim team. Part of my Club water polo training is twice a week training at a Cross fit gym. This uses different muscles that I may not be using in the pool and continues to strengthen my muscles and my performance.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am active in my church. I volunteer in the day care center and am active in the youth group. I also volunteer my team to help teach children to swim.
