Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

It's been my dream to play golf in college. I am ready to play at the next level. I have been taking lessons since I was 7 years old and competing since I was 10 years old. I have worked hard over the years to get my scores down consistently. I feel that it will be a huge accomplishment to be able to play the sport in college that I have worked so hard at. Regardless of what happens, I will continue to work on my golf game until I am the absolute best that I can be.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I like to think that I represent myself as a leader on the golf course by helping others as needed, whether through encouragement and support or helping the team's overall score by doing the best that I can. I strive to be the best and give my all. I practice year round every chance that I get even if no one else will practice. I call my teammates to invite them to play golf year round so we all can work on our skill level. I am a leader off the golf course in that I am the co-President this year for FCCLA. I will be competing at State for FCCLA in March 2020.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by constantly working on my golf game. I do have a personal PGA coach (Jordan Dempsey) at the PGA Tour Performance Center at TPC Sawgrass. I see Jordan at least once a month for two hours. I also go to the gym to work out when I can not get on the course to practice. I also think it is important to have certain days as an off day to not only rest your body, but your mind as well. I like Sundays as my off day.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Helping in my community is important to me because it is a way to give back. I have helped with the summer program called STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Camp, which is a camp for elementary students to learn and do different types of science projects. I was a volunteer in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, they already had all the volunteers they needed so I was not able to participate. For the past 2 years I have been a member of FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America). We do projects within the community such as Operation Christmas Child, visit nursing homes, visit the Senior Citizens at the Concerted Services at Christmas, serve the Retired Teachers Thanksgiving Lunch, and help with a canned food drive during the holidays,

I am a student volunteer on the CTAE/FACS Advisory Committee where community volunteers also help with the high school focusing on careers and different project ideas within our high school.
