Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Giving back to my community has always been a center point in my life. From the time I was 3 years old I was helping to deliver meals through the Meals on Wheels program. As I have gotten older I have offered myself to my church and have volunteered in many different capacities for and through my church. I have become involved with a Veteran's group called Kill 22 which advocates for service men and women for the prevention of suicide. My family has been involved with the Guide Dog Foundation which raises puppies to become guide dogs and assist disabled veterans as well as those suffering from PTSD. My high school, Jesuit Dallas, fully supports and encourages community service. I have worked with disabled youths through the YMCA to help them to learn to swim and with North Texas Food Bank to help feed 800 families in the DFW Metroplex.

I am excited to live a life of service and make a positive difference in my community, country and world.
