Personal Highlights

I have been club swimming year round for 5 years, one year with RSA and the past four years with Marlins of Raleigh.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

It would be really fun to swim in college and it would help pay for college too so my mom and dad don't have to pay for everything. They already pay a lot for my brother and I to go to Marlins of Raleigh, boy scouts, piano lessons and travel to meets so I guess it's like paying for college in advance.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I like to lead the lane so I don't bang into people ahead of me and I like to do stuff as a leader in classes. I joined Beta Club this past year at school and my Eagle Scout project with the troop has taught me a lot of things about planning, budgeting and leading a major project building a stone sidewalk and memorial garden at our church, with the help of more than 30 people.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I like to sleep and then I eat snacks and drink a lot during swim meets. I always do good in school because my parents make sure my brother and I always do our homework and try to get straight A's.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am in Boy Scouts of America (Troop 392) and we do a lot of service projects in our town and for the church. I started my Eagle Scout project in May 2019 and plan to have it complete by October 2019, with over 2000 man-hours of labor invested in it.
