Softball Honors

2015 (8th grade): #1 JV squad pitcher and CF when not pitching. Starting varsity right fielder for playoffs.
2016 (Freshman year): #1 JV pitcher. Shortstop when not pitching. Starting varsity right fielder for playoffs.
2017 (Sophomore year): starting varsity at 3B all season and the #2 pitcher. Finished season as 1st team all-conference (Big 9) and 2nd team all-area (SE Minnesota).
2018 (Junior year): starting varsity pitcher. Played 3B and catcher when not pitching. After spring season, continued playing with SE Flyers. Our team won the USA Gold state championship in July 2018. For the tournament, hit two HRs and a triple while starting each game in left field.

-Currently hold a 4.0 GPA at Century High School. Enrolled in four A.P. classes my junior year.

-Member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

-High school three sport athlete:
Soccer: starting mid-fielder for the 9A team as a freshman and the JV team as a sophomore. Reserve varsity mid-fielder junior year, averaging about 20 minutes per game.
Basketball: starting JV and reserve varsity as a freshman and sophomore. Sophomore year, lead the team in scoring and 3 point field goals. Junior year, reserve varsity guard and averaging about 12 minutes per game. Primary role is defensive specialist.
Softball: started playing varsity as an 8th grader. In 2017, voted all-conference first team in the Big 9 and all-area second team in Southeast Minnesota, as a sophomore. Also, previous experience playing for a club team called the Rochester Royals in 2014 and 2016. Currently, playing year-round for a club team called the SE MN Flyers. Won the USA Gold state championship playing for the Flyers in the summer of 2018.

Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Sports have always been apart of my life and I want it to continue being apart of my life. I thoroughly enjoy practicing, competing, playing, and participating in athletics and I love pushing myself to be better. I believe can be successful at the next level and help contribute to my next team’s success.
