My name is Samantha Rico. I'm currently a Libero with Williowbrook Volleyball, Houston, Texas. I'm also currently playing multiple positions on my Varsity Volleyball Team at Humble Christian School. I will graduate in 2020. I'm fearless & confident in my playing ability and always give it my all on the court. I have fun so that I may play in the college level & beyond. I've been playing varsity since the 7th. grade and I'm in the top 1/4 percent in my class. I'm dedicated and know I can succeed in your program.
I LOVE the game of Volleyball! I totally understand the game and the strategies for the offense & defense.
I will continue to help my community and others. One has to find out where you can make a difference. My Dad and I talk about how we can help our fellow man. I would like to help other students and athletes reach their goals and overcome challenges and obstacles in life by being a positive mentor or role model.
A healthy athletic performance includes, balancing school, baseball and volunteering. Dividing your time equally between all your obligations, but also making time for leisure time. ..Time management, is crucial to success in life, especially as a student athlete, prioritizing the work load and maintaining a healthy lifestyle “balance†is essential just to give yourself an opportunity at life, every day.
I have been involved in my community since the summer before my freshman year at Humble Christian Academy helping our families prepare our school for the following year. I am a member of the Mt. Carmel Athletic Club who volunteers time to help raise money for athletic scholarship awards. I strive to be a positive role model for the younger kids in the community & school by dedicating myself to my GOD, academics, athletics, and family.
