Personal belief: conditioning is the key to my success.
Highly competitive athlete in water polo, class president/ student leader, and active in community outreach programs. Personal beliefs: always have a positive attitude, listen to the coach, always work hard, and the team is more important than the player. I love my USA Women's Water Polo Developmental Team :)
School Treasurer; responsible for guiding and co-planning the student activities budget. Active participant/ leader in Girl Scouting. As a peer tutor, I make sure my classmates are keeping up with the academic pacing. I frequently help the teaching staff at my school, so that I may prepare myself in advance for projects and help the success of education I receive. I have enjoyed leading my team to silver and gold medals in the 2014 and 2015 USA Water Polo J.O.'s as a team leader as well as in scoring, blocks, and assists. My experiences on the US Women's National Developmental Team have been invaluable in developing my skills in offense and defense.
I make sure I have a healthy athletic performance first by keeping a good diet. My body is made up of what I eat and my performance depends on it. Training in different ways (aerobic and skill based) like running, land training, and playing other sports (like softball) let my body stretch it's potential. What perfects my style is my practice. I focus on what my coaches expect me to work on as well as what I feel I am weak on at that time.
I serve my community through food drives, and book drives through Girl Scouting. Reaching out to the people in my community lets me help others achieve their goals and helps me appreciate how lucky I am.
